Who Can Vote

There are 7 school board seats on the Greater Clark County School Board, 4 of which are up in 2016.  No matter in which District you live, you can vote for any and all seats and candidates in Greater Clark County as long as you are a registered voter in the GCCS School District.  This is important because even though the city of Jeffersonville holds 5 of the 7 seats, residents in Charlestown and New Washington still have a say in which candidates are elected which has an impact on those schools.

Even if you don't have children or grandchildren in the district, you still have a stake because our students are the future of our communities.  Schools not only teach academics but also character education and citizenship.
